About this role
FUNDVIEW is a modern, cloud-based ERP platform that supports local governments. They are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead and scale their QA function, focusing on establishing quality standards and driving automation within their products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead QA Strategy. Define and execute a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with product and engineering goals across multiple systems and releases. This role will be a hands-on contributor to the success of the QA Team
- Build & Scale QA Function. Establish testing frameworks, processes, and best practices, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement
- Automation & Tooling. Drive adoption of modern testing tools such as Playwright or comparable frameworks; oversee test automation within CI/CD pipelines
- Technical Oversight. Ensure quality across applications, including API, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Team Leadership & Development. Recruit, mentor, and develop QA professionals; foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and technical growth
- Cross-Functional Collaboration. Partner with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Risk Management & Reporting. Identify quality risks early, communicate effectively with leadership, and provide clear metrics on product quality and release readiness
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role
- Proven experience building or scaling QA functions in a product or systems-focused environment
- Strong background in test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Experience testing applications built on the .NET Framework
- Solid understanding of integration testing, and system-level validation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience working in or with GovTech is preferred
- Experience with performance and security testing methodologies
- Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment
