Sr Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Evisort AI

Workday is a leading AI platform for managing people, money, and agents, and its team develops AI technology for contract management and legal data processing. The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test will help drive quality for an enterprise-grade SaaS contract management platform by owning automated functional, regression, performance, and load testing. The role also involves developing test automation frameworks, collaborating with engineering and product teams, and mentoring other SDETs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with our agile, cross-functional engineering team to build a robust, enterprise-grade SaaS contract management platform
• Drive the quality assurance process by implementing comprehensive automated functional, regression and performance testing, ensuring our platform consistently meets the highest quality standards
• Enhance platform scalability by implementing effective performance and load testing strategies
• Partner with software developers and product managers to define features and establish criteria for verifying correct implementation, fostering a quality-first mindset throughout the development cycle
• Leverage your expertise in test automation to design, develop, and maintain efficient test automation frameworks that support continuous delivery and integration
• Actively mentor P2 and P3 SDETs, conducting high-level code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence

Requirements:

• • 8+ years of experience in quality engineering, including 5+ years focused on test automation
• • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining automated test suites using modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools in production environments
• • 5+ years of professional software development experience in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, including application of software design principles and patterns
• • 5+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks that improve test coverage, reliability, or engineering efficiency
• • 5+ years of experience testing REST APIs, including developing automated API tests and identifying defects or quality risks before release
• • 5+ years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins to support automated build, test, and deployment workflows
• • Experience working with cloud environments, microservices, and containerized applications
• • Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools, intelligent test automation, or other advanced quality-engineering techniques
• • Strong understanding of performance and security testing principles, including approaches to identifying scalability, reliability, and application-security risks
