Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking a motivated Junior .NET Developer to join their Healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining healthcare applications that support patient care and clinical workflows in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web and desktop applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
- Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, and healthcare stakeholders to understand requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices
- Participate in application enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements
- Assist in integrating healthcare systems using APIs, HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare interoperability standards
- Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries
- Perform unit testing and support system testing activities
- Participate in code reviews and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, security, and data privacy standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in software development (internship experience acceptable)
- Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET Framework
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server and relational database concepts
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, or Blazor
- Exposure to healthcare applications, EHR/EMR systems, HL7, or FHIR standards
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services
- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control tools
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
