Verita is a company focused on AI and automation solutions, and they are seeking a Business Analyst to translate operational needs into clear requirements and workflows. The role involves collaborating with various teams to improve processes and support AI initiatives, ensuring accurate and maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, clarify, and document business requirements through interviews, working sessions, process reviews, and analysis of current operations
- Map current-state and future-state processes, including roles, handoffs, business rules, exceptions, controls, and measurable success criteria
- Translate operational needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, and implementation plans
- Design and coordinate practical AI and automation workflows using approved systems, document-extraction tools, APIs, and workflow platforms
- Analyze documents, data, and system outputs to identify errors, inconsistencies, rework, operational trends, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and test prompts, validation rules, and exception-handling procedures with business experts, quality assurance, and technology teams
- Plan and support user-acceptance testing, parallel comparisons, workflow validation, and controlled production implementation
- Coordinate work across operations, product, technology, quality assurance, vendors, and other stakeholders while maintaining clear ownership and follow-through
- Measure actual results against the approved baseline, including cost, time, quality, exception rates, adoption, and operational impact
- Prepare clear process documentation, control materials, training content, and implementation support for employees and leaders
Requirements:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution is required
- Three or more years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, systems implementation, automation, product operations, or a comparable role
- Demonstrated ability to document requirements, process maps, business rules, workflows, acceptance criteria, and test plans
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use operational data, spreadsheets, and structured analysis to support decisions
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication, including the ability to facilitate discussions across business and technical teams
- Strong organization, follow-through, and judgment when managing multiple projects, priorities, dependencies, and deadlines
- High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data handling, documentation, confidentiality, quality, and controls
- Ability to explain technical or AI-enabled workflows in plain business language and preserve meaningful human review
- Experience in bankruptcy, fiduciary services, legal services, financial services, banking, or another regulated professional-services environment
- Experience with AI-enabled business applications, document extraction, OCR, workflow orchestration, APIs, or tools such as n8n, Power Automate, or comparable platforms
- Experience supporting quality assurance, user-acceptance testing, system migration, data validation, or production workflow monitoring
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, data-visualization tools, SQL, reporting platforms, or business-process modeling tools
- Business-analysis, project-management, process-improvement, or related professional certification
