Job Responsibilities - Support complex Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure reliable data availability for critical business processes.
- Manage Data Warehouse change management infrastructure and code/DDL promotion processes.
- Maintain Linux security structure on Data Warehouse ETL servers.
- Manage Teradata security and user access.
- Conduct data architecture reviews and audits.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and processes.
- Provide support for escalated Data Warehouse issue troubleshooting and resolution.
- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to improve performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and effective use of enterprise data assets.
- Manage and support ETL and data integration across multiple systems.
- Collaborate with external vendors and third-party service providers.
- Support patch management, system upgrades, and maintenance.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Perform data profiling and implement data quality validation rules.
- Execute data cleansing and standardization activities.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Lead migration of Data Warehouse processes to standardized frameworks.
- Conduct elevated access reviews and security audits.
- Identify and remediate audit findings related to data systems and security.
Required Qualifications - 8+ years of Teradata experience.
- Experience supporting data loading from multiple source systems.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support.
- Minimum 5 years of Linux experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications - Government or State experience.
- Experience with cloud-based BI tools.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Additional Notes - Team consists of State employees and long-term contractors in a collaborative environment.
- Work closely with developers, leadership, stakeholders, and vendor teams.
- Support enterprise Data Warehouse projects covering Child Support, Child Welfare, Eligibility, and Health Services programs.
