Software Engineer III, iOS, Ventures

Electronic Arts (EA) creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. They are seeking a Software Engineer III (iOS) to build engaging iOS applications for their social sports media app, focusing on delivering features that integrate with backend services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain iOS applications using Swift
• Implement and optimize robust API integrations (REST and GraphQL) with backend systems
• Collaborate with design, backend, and product partners to deliver end-to-end features
• Ensure code is clean, testable, and performant, following best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, debugging, and performance optimization
• Stay up to date with Apple frameworks and evolving SDKs

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of professional iOS development experience
• Strong proficiency in Swift, with knowledge of modern iOS frameworks (SwiftUI, Combine, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining API integrations (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and monitoring tools
• Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and profiling tools
• Solid understanding of iOS architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, etc.)
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Curious and adaptable engineer with a growth mindset
