Cyber Security Engineer

Calance is a company seeking a Senior Security Automation & Incident Response Engineer. The primary objective of this role is to help the security team by transforming existing manual processes into scalable, automated workflows while strengthening incident response capabilities and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Share ownership of end-to-end incident response activities with the Senior Incident Response Analyst
• Lead efforts to reduce manual security operations work through automation
• Design, build, and implement SOAR capabilities within Rapid7
• Create and optimize automated workflows for alert handling, enrichment, and response actions
• Review, redesign, and mature the organization's Incident Response Plan
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and operational procedures
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current security tools and processes
• Help maximize value from existing security investments and elevate overall security operations maturity

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in USA: No Sponsorship Provided
• Must Have: Rapid 7, Service Now( ITSM), Microsoft Security Stack, & Abnormal Security
• Senior / highly experienced security engineer
• Combines advanced incident response expertise with security automation capabilities

• Security engineering and incident response expertise
• Experience building automation, workflows, and playbooks
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft security technologies, Zscaler, and email security
