STRAVEXA is seeking a Project Manager for their client in Remote, focusing on healthcare interoperability initiatives. The successful candidate will lead enterprise-level technology projects, manage project risks and vendors, and ensure the delivery of strategic interoperability solutions leveraging FHIR and related healthcare data exchange standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise healthcare interoperability projects
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
- Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, leadership, and external vendors to ensure project success
- Drive project delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate
- Facilitate project governance, status reporting, stakeholder communications, and executive updates
- Oversee implementation of interoperability solutions utilizing FHIR APIs and healthcare data exchange standards
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues to maintain project objectives and timelines
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business and technology goals
- Monitor project performance and implement continuous improvement practices to optimize outcomes
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Program and/or Project Management experience
- Strong healthcare payer industry experience
- Proven experience managing projects involving FHIR, healthcare interoperability, APIs, and healthcare data exchange technologies
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party partners
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- PMP certification
- Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent)
- Advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience supporting healthcare regulatory and interoperability programs
