Sales Account Executive

Avalon is a growing legal services company with over 25 years of experience in helping law firms and corporate legal departments. They are seeking a Sales Account Executive to build a pipeline of new clients and develop relationships through strategic outreach and collaboration with subject-matter experts.

Responsibilities:

• Build a pipeline of new law firm and corporate clients
• Use LinkedIn and other digital channels to identify prospects, establish credibility, and initiate meaningful conversations
• Develop a recognizable professional presence through thoughtful social engagement and industry content
• Conduct strategic discovery conversations with legal, compliance, procurement, and technology leaders
• Identify client challenges and connect them with the right Avalon services
• Create and execute account-based outreach plans across phone, email, social media, networking, and industry events
• Collaborate with Avalon’s subject-matter experts to develop solutions and proposals
• Maintain disciplined pipeline activity, forecasting, and opportunity management
• Expand relationships by introducing clients to Avalon’s broader capabilities

Requirements:

• A demonstrated record of generating new business in eDiscovery, legal technology, managed review, legal staffing, litigation support, or a related professional-services field
• A hunter mentality with the discipline to prospect consistently
• Experience using LinkedIn and social selling to build relationships and create qualified opportunities
• Strong executive presence and the ability to lead consultative business conversations
• An established network within law firms, corporate legal departments, or adjacent markets
• The curiosity to understand a client's business before recommending a solution
• Strong follow-through, sound judgment, and personal accountability
• Comfort working independently while collaborating with operational and technical experts
