Position: Power BI & Azure Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities (highlights):

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and related services.
• Build and manage data ingestion from Salesforce (API integrations, schema alignment, performance tuning).
• Develop data models, transformations, and semantic layers to power Power BI reporting.
• Optimize queries, pipelines, and storage for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, API issues, and Power BI dataset/dataflow refresh problems.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

• Power BI dashboards: hands-on design, development, and testing
• Power BI datasets, dataflows, DirectQuery/Import models
• Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Delta Lake
• SQL mastery: advanced querying, ETL/ELT, performance tuning
• Python or Scala for data processing
• PL/SQL development experience
• Data modeling (star/snowflake schemas), warehousing concepts
• API integrations and data ingestion from CRM systems (Salesforce)
• Azure cloud services monitoring and governance
