Senior IT Project Manager – Application Transition

Vaisesika is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead enterprise application transition and implementation initiatives as part of a large-scale business transformation program. This role involves strong project leadership and stakeholder management, requiring the candidate to manage multiple concurrent projects while collaborating with business leaders and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a portfolio of enterprise application transition and implementation projects
• Own project planning, execution, timelines, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and align technology solutions with business objectives
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, business users, vendors, and third-party consultants
• Support vendor engagement activities, including solution evaluations and Statement of Work (SOW) preparation
• Monitor project governance and ensure adherence to established project management standards
• Prepare and present executive-level project status reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans
• Drive successful application implementation, testing, documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational handover
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
• Proven experience leading enterprise application implementation or transition projects
• Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, stakeholder management, and project governance
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously across geographically distributed teams
• Excellent communication, presentation, and business relationship management skills
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable project plans
• Experience working with vendors and third-party consulting teams
