Role:  Salesforce Technical Architect
Location: California (Remote)
Travel: Travel to California twice a month is mandatory
Duration: 12 Months 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise across the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Lightning, with a strong background in system integrations and enterprise application architecture.

This is a remote opportunity, but candidates must be willing to travel to California twice per month for onsite meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall IT experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect or Solution Architect.
• Expertise in Salesforce Lightning Experience (LWC, Aura Components).
• Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Platform Events.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom Salesforce development.
• Strong experience designing enterprise-scale Salesforce architecture.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Middleware.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps processes.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and governance.
• Experience with data migration using Data Loader, ETL tools, or MuleSoft.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Application Architect and System Architect certifications.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is highly preferred.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Azure, or AWS integrations.
• Experience with OmniStudio, CPQ, or Salesforce Industries is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions.
• Define enterprise architecture and Salesforce best practices.
• Lead technical design sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Architect integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems.
• Mentor developers and conduct code reviews.
• Ensure application scalability, security, and performance.
• Support release management, CI/CD, and DevOps implementation.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and QA teams.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide architectural guidance.
• Maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
