Experience in IT, supporting the design, development, deployment, or delivery of technology solutions.
Experience using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) to migrate data from Oracle to AWS.
Experience with batch and real-time data ingestion, including full loads, Change Data Capture (CDC), and streaming architectures.
Experience with AWS cloud services, specifically designing and implementing infrastructure and networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, routing).
Experience with core AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda) and infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation or Terraform).
Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration methodologies in cloud migration projects.
Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience configuring and managing cloud network security, including VPNs, Direct Connect, and security groups.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
Experience developing data migration and cutover plans, including rollback strategies and minimizing downtime.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including documenting technical designs and migration runbooks.
Experience with hybrid cloud/on-premises connectivity and legacy system modernization.
AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Database – Specialty.
