We are recruiting a research coordinator to support clinical research at a translational metabolic research laboratory at the USDA/ARS Children's Nutrition Research Center at Baylor College of Medicine. The individual will provide research coordination to a productive research program and interact with multiple team members and research participants. The candidate will follow established guidelines and support the PI in the conduct of research activities and execution of research protocol procedures.
The Research Coordinator III is expected to provide guidance and mentorship to junior research coordinators and train them on the regulatory aspects of clinical research. This role will also lead and support research activities related to participant recruitment, outreach event coordination, and engagement with community clinics to support recruitment efforts.
Flexible schedule to accommodate children’s and parents’ schedules. The research unit is open two Saturdays per month.
This individual will support the PI in ensuring protocol adherence, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
