Medical Oncology is seeking a Full- Time Clinical Assistant to join our dedicated team serving Binghamton, NY, and nearby communities.

The Clinical Assistant provides both clinical and administrative support within an outpatient practice. This position works closely with providers, patients, and care teams to deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining efficient office operations. Responsibilities include obtaining patient information, assisting with examinations, coordinating care, scheduling appointments, and supporting day-to-day clinical activities

Position Summary:
Assists in all aspects of office operations to include reception, patient interaction, scheduling patients, venipuncture for labs, and patient vital signs. Assigning ICD‐10 codes to patient charts, working with reimbursement programs and precertification’s for drugs, testing and treatments.
Education, License & Cert:
Graduate of an approved clinical/medical assisting program or High School Diploma with prior clinical assistance experience. Basic Life Support encouraged but not required.
Experience:
Prior experience as a clinical assistant preferred or experience with patient care in or outside of the office setting.

Pay ranges from $17.40-$25.66 based off experience
