About Moon
Moon is an ambitious, independent vertical SaaS company incubated by Home Organizers, a market leader with decades of proven success in home organization through its subsidiaries, including Closet World, Closets by Design, and Brio Water Technology. Born inside one of the industry's largest operators — 6,000+ employees, hundreds of thousands of new customers served annually — Moon is built on a rare advantage: we build for the home improvement industry from within it.
Our mission is to reinvent the home improvement experience end to end. From AI-driven marketing and in-home 3D design to sales, service, and operations, Moon unifies the entire customer and business journey on a single platform — supercharged by Luna, our proprietary AI engine. Where most operators stitch together disconnected tools that don't understand the homeowner, we're building the unified operating system the industry has never had. We're a rapidly growing team of committed builders, driven to reimagine how this industry sells, designs, and delivers — and to power the next generation of operators, from single-location dealers to national franchise networks.
You will build quality into Moon's platform without ever becoming a gate. There is no manual QA sign-off here - teams ship continuously. Your job is the protocols and automation that make that safe: fully automated QA testing in the CI/CD pipeline that protects our customers' businesses from buggy releases and major issues, and protects the platform from downtime. You will be expected to understand the product deeply - an expert on the customer application, as fluent in its workflows as the people who build it.
• You will join as the leader of quality for a platform with demanding reliability goals, with a junior QA engineer on your team to mentor and grow.
• Design and own the protocols for fully automated QA testing in the CI/CD pipeline: critical-flow suites, quality gates, and the low flake rate that keeps them trusted.
• Protect our customers' businesses from buggy releases and major issues - and the platform from downtime - as your explicit mandate.
• Put up monitors on the current application and work with DevOps on alerting, observability, and production quality signals.
• Become an expert on the customer application: know every workflow deeply enough to know what must never break.
• Build production quality analytics: escaped defects, regressions, and the metrics on every team dashboard.
• Run user-side QA: triage what real users report into engineering teams with clean reproductions.
• Mentor and grow the team's junior QA engineer.
• 6+ years in quality/test engineering at companies that ship continuously.
• Has replaced manual QA gates with automation - and can show the before/after.
• Writes production-grade test code; thinks in pipelines and invariants, not test plans.
• Deep product curiosity - learns applications to expert level fast.
• Calm, rigorous, and outcome-focused.
