Software Engineer

Cotiviti is a company that develops innovative applications in healthcare analytics. The Software Engineer role involves designing and developing software applications and components for the Cotiviti product suite while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high quality, maintainable software modules
• Conduct unit and integration testing
• Analyze requirements and specifications and create detailed designs
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and elevate quality across all areas of responsibility
• Continuously update professional knowledge of new technologies
• Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Ability to execute on project deliverables in a dynamic, fast paced environment within estimated timelines
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• 3-5 years of software development experience, preferability in an enterprise setting
• Strong Java and SQL skills
• Proficient working with AI-enabled tools and coding assistants
• Critical Thinking: Analyze problems objectively and make sound, data-driven decisions
• Attention to Detail: Maintain accuracy across code, data, and deliverables

• This is a remote position - must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area with reliable hi-speed internet
• Experience in back-end systems development with heavy emphasis on data processing preferred
• Healthcare and pharmacy information systems / data experience preferred
