Director, Product Management

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates teams to conduct market research and analysis, enabling teams to evaluate complex data patterns across multiple portfolios and prioritize high-value initiatives
• Advises teams to ensure the product portfolio aligns with Oracle’s goals and anticipates/responds to industry shifts and competitive challenges
• Directs cross-functional teams to drive alignment between customers, the market, internal stakeholders, and Oracle’s broader strategic vision
• Obtains alignment from stakeholders on market trend analysis and gathered market information to shape product positioning, pricing, and market strategy, ensuring Oracle’s offerings remain industry-leading
• Oversees teams in identifying and capitalizing on customers' unmet needs, market opportunities, and regulatory requirements, integrating these insights into the broader business strategy
• Leads internal teams in developing problem statements and hypotheses for innovative products, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and organizational objectives
• Directs solution identification processes and provides oversight on solutions identified
• Sets guidelines for the creation and maintenance of solution artifacts (e.g., regulatory requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, user documentation) to ensure alignment and clarity
• Directs the planning, execution, and release processes for the organization’s product lifecycle, aligning with long-term strategic business goals
• Empowers team members to maintain and evolve the roadmap for a wide range of products/features, ensuring seamless alignment with overarching business strategies
• Directs others in establishing and developing feature requirements and resources, setting best-in-class practices for the organization
• Collaborates with key stakeholders to drive delivery excellence, adherence to project timelines, and achievement of strategic milestones
• Guides teams collecting and analyzing metrics (e.g., Service Requests, bugs, customer feedback, customer volumes), leveraging insights to drive product optimization and impactful results
• Refines the development and review of user stories and acceptance criteria, assuring top-tier product quality and exceptional customer satisfaction
• Aligns diverse teams on prioritizing and executing high-value features and experiences, ensuring delivery on success criteria and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to drive business growth
• Obtains alignment with key stakeholders to define and drive product direction consistent with the company's vision, business goals, and customer needs
• Scopes work needed to develop products and deliver exceptional customer experiences in line with Oracle’s desired future state
• Directs business performance and operations reviews to track progress and identify areas for improvement
• Guides the innovation and evolution of products through the identification and prioritization of new features and enhancements
• Maintains alignment across business units, ensuring seamless integration of insights and fostering high-level communication channels to drive success
• Develops cross-team guidance, empowering teams to effectively manage and overcome stakeholder pushback
• Oversees the development and execution of innovative solutions tied to OKRs and KPIs, ensuring high-impact results
• Recommends success criteria and performance metrics (OKRs, KPIs) for multiple products and features, aligning with long-term organizational goals
• Leads cross-team user testing and iterative development, ensuring product enhancements are user-driven and market-relevant
• Proactively monitors teams advocating for customers and integrating feedback throughout the product lifecycle
• Leads teams in engaging with customers to gather feedback and transforms it into strategic improvements for Oracle's offerings
• Drives teams to adopt a customer-centric approach that identifies and prioritizes enhancements delivering substantial business value
• Scopes and defines new product capabilities and feature designs, ensuring alignment with customer feedback and market analysis
• Directs teams to ensure alignment between product development and customer needs
• Drives cross-functional collaboration to ensure holistic product consumer satisfaction and successful adoption
• Sets guidelines on the resolution process for customer issues to ensure satisfaction and product quality
• Oversees and coordinates delivery for the field team, ensuring accuracy of materials and alignment across teams
• Directs and sets guidelines for recruiting and supporting early adopters to validate and refine product solutions
• Oversees the development of user documentation to ensure accuracy and user alignment for multiple products
• Monitors the product adoption tracking process, developing initiatives and strategies to improve adoption as needed
• Directs product demonstrations for internal/external customers, partners, industry analysts, and the field, driving promotion of new releases and value
• Oversees and guides multiple teams in managing complex projects or initiatives, monitoring timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure strategic objectives are met
• Serves as a role model for effective delegation, priority setting, and alignment with business needs
• Coaches others on adjusting resources or timelines as business needs change
• Role models leading cross-functional collaborative efforts to align expectations and strategic objectives
• Empowers teams to build and maintain partnerships with business leaders, stakeholders, and customers to address barriers and enable long-term success
• Drives transparency and inclusivity by modeling active listening and leveraging diverse perspectives
• Shares problem-solving strategies across teams, providing oversight on complex operational/technical issues as needed
• Coaches teams on analyzing highly complex data to resolve ambiguous issues and provides direction on identifying root causes to prevent recurrence

• Creates opportunities for team members and leaders to develop expertise in new areas, coaching for innovative skill development
• Identifies skill gap trends across the organization and upholds a culture of knowledge sharing and pursuit of learning
• Evaluates learning strategies for effectiveness and recommends adjustments
• Empowers teams to develop and implement ideas improving process and workflow efficiency at the departmental level
• Coaches teams to gain support for improvement ideas and encourages open feedback on new approaches
• Prioritizes and reviews improvement initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic direction and return on investment
• Serves as a role model for driving performance across teams through tailored feedback and coaching aligned with management processes
• Drives consistency in talent development procedures and socializes performance expectations across the organization

• Collaborates with HR to implement talent strategy through hiring and promotion processes
