Product Manager

myMechanic is the first agnostic maintenance ecosystem for commercial trucking, connecting fleets, drivers, and service providers in real time. They are seeking a Product Manager to prioritize product development based on customer needs, own the product roadmap, and ensure that the right features are built.

Responsibilities:

• Own prioritization across the entire product. If a fleet is waiting on a feature, you know about it before anyone asks
• Write clear product specs with defined scope, acceptance criteria, and customer context
• Work directly with engineers (TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB) to break specs into buildable tickets
• Manage the Linear board
• Talk to customers weekly. Fleets, providers, tire dealers, call centers. Understand their workflows
• Coordinate across integrations to make sure partner timelines are met
• Report directly to the CEO

Requirements:

• Trucking, fleet maintenance, or commercial vehicle service industry experience. This is non-negotiable. You need to know how this world works
• Experience as a Product Manager at a B2B SaaS company, marketplace, or platform. You've shipped product, not just managed backlogs
• Ability to write specs that engineers respect. Not slides. Not Jira descriptions. Real specs with data models, user flows, and edge cases
• Comfort working in a startup
• Strong opinions held loosely. You'll push back on the CEO when priorities don't make sense and accept when the market says otherwise
