Cloud Project Manager

General Dynamics Information Technology is a global technology and professional services company that delivers technology solutions and mission services to every major agency across the U.S. government. They are seeking a Cloud Project Manager to oversee technology initiatives for federal customers and support multi-cloud technology transformations that enhance digital services.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee mission‑driven technology initiatives for our federal customers as a Project Manager
• Develop and maintain project scope, work plans, and timelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory compliance
• Support day‑to‑day project coordination, task tracking, and schedule management across multi‑cloud modernization workstreams
• Coordinate between technical teams (cloud architects, DevOps, network, security, data engineering), business stakeholders, and clients to ensure seamless integration of cloud platforms
• Drive the delivery of high‑quality project documentation, risk and issue management, and continuous improvement practices to help the team address challenges quickly and effectively
• Monitor deliverables, conduct reviews, and use feedback to improve processes and outcomes
• Utilize project management tools, cloud modernization concepts, and standard PM methodologies to support consistent, transparent project execution

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, IT or Project Management
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) required
• 5+ years of related experience
• Familiarity with cloud transformation efforts, IT modernization concepts, and standard project management tools
• Public Trust (or ability to obtain)
• Cloud platform specific certifications preferred (AWS, Azure, Google or Oracle)
