Cloud/DevOps Engineer

CALIBRE Systems, inc. is an employee-owned, mission focused solutions and digital transformation company seeking a highly qualified Cloud/DevOps Engineer. The role involves providing hands-on Azure cloud engineering and DevOps support for AI-enabled applications and data products, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and quality thresholds.

Responsibilities:

• Support Azure cloud engineering within the existing UDAP Azure environment
• Build, deploy, monitor, and support AI-enabled applications and data products
• Support infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and monitoring practices
• Host and maintain open-source applications such as Apache Superset
• Support managed database and AI services used by the platform
• Support secure access controls, audit logging, and role-based/role-scoped access
• Support Security/ATO documentation inputs for delivered applications and products
• Provide documentation, configuration details, source code, and knowledge transfer for transition

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience
• Hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience, preferably in Azure Government
• Experience supporting infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, monitoring, and application hosting
• Experience supporting managed database services, AI services, or data/analytics platforms
• Experience working in secure, governed, or Federal IT environments
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar agentic tool-integration patterns
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps tracking tools such as MLflow
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar IaC tools
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, or Azure Container Registry
• Experience with Apache Superset administration
• Experience with PostgreSQL, pgvector, dbt, Azure SQL, Event Hubs, or Python ETL
• Experience supporting Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Foundry, RAG, embeddings, vector stores, or LLM-enabled applications
• Federal ATO/RMF/NIST experience
• Relevant certifications such as: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert / AZ-400, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / AZ-104, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Cloud Developer Associate / AI-200, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Apps and Agents Developer Associate / AI-103, Cloud security certifications
