Data Engineer

Trilyon, Inc. is partnering with a leading Fortune 500 Retail & Apparel organization to expand their Supply Chain Data & AI team. In this role, you'll help build the cloud-based data platform that powers sourcing, transportation, and warehouse operations across a global supply chain, utilizing Google Cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Develop and optimize data solutions using BigQuery, Dataproc, SQL, and dbt
• Build robust data models to support reporting, analytics, and AI-driven initiatives
• Ingest, transform, validate, and publish data from multiple enterprise sources
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Architects, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Develop reusable data transformation frameworks and follow modern engineering best practices
• Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Perform unit testing, data validation, production support, and technical documentation
• Participate in Agile development, sprint planning, code reviews, and backlog refinement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering
• Strong experience building production data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Hands-on expertise with BigQuery, Dataproc, SQL, and dbt
• Strong understanding of dimensional data modeling and modern data warehouse concepts
• Experience designing and maintaining production-scale ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Apache Airflow
• Apache Kafka or other streaming technologies
• PySpark
• Python
• Data governance, metadata management, or data quality frameworks
• Experience in Retail, Apparel, Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
