HR Business Partner Manager (HRBP)

California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner Manager (HRBP) to collaborate with leaders in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives. The role focuses on talent management, organizational development, and enhancing employee engagement within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business leaders to deliver HR solutions that support business goals
• Provide expertise in areas such as workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations
• Develop and execute talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by championing diversity and inclusion initiatives
• Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-informed decision-making

Requirements:

• Must reside in California upon appointment
• Completed STD 678 application and resume are required
• Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included
• Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, have LEAP eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility may be considered
• Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s)
• Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
