Graphic Designer - Physical Products & Packaging

Serenity Forge partners with talented video game developers to create premium physical editions and merchandise. They are seeking a passionate Graphic Designer to shape the visual identity of their products, focusing on packaging and marketing materials that celebrate the games they publish.

Responsibilities:

• Design packaging, collector's edition assets, and marketing materials for physical video game releases
• Create compelling visual designs for box art, manuals, art books, posters, merchandise, and retail displays
• Collaborate closely with producers, marketing, licensors, and external development teams to bring creative concepts to life
• Prepare production-ready print files that meet manufacturing specifications and quality standards
• Ensure all artwork maintains brand consistency while accurately representing each game's artistic vision
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
• Incorporate feedback from internal teams and external partners through multiple rounds of revisions
• Assist in developing premium collector's edition items and other physical merchandise concepts

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial graphic design work, preferably within the video game, entertainment, or consumer products industries
• Excellent understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Experience designing for both print and digital media
• Knowledge of print production processes, including CMYK color management, bleeds, dielines, and prepress preparation
• Ability to balance creativity with technical production requirements
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
• Passion for video games and an understanding of gaming culture, genres, and audiences
• Ability to adapt to a wide variety of artistic styles while maintaining high production quality
• Experience designing physical video game packaging or collector's editions
• Background in commercial illustration or merchandise design
• Knowledge of packaging manufacturing and specialty print finishes such as foil stamping, spot UV, embossing, holographic materials, and specialty papers
• Experience preparing assets for licensing approvals and first-party platform requirements
• Familiarity with 3D mockups or rendering software for product visualization
• Experience working with international licensors, publishers, or manufacturing partners
