We are seeking an experienced Database Infrastructure Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise SQL Server database environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL Server, Azure Cloud, Windows Server, PowerShell, SSIS, and database infrastructure automation. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability of mission-critical database systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and administer SQL Server databases and Azure cloud infrastructure.
Manage Windows Server environments supporting database platforms.
Develop automation using PowerShell, SSIS, and SQL Server Agent jobs.
Design, schedule, and monitor ETL workflows and automated maintenance tasks.
Monitor database performance, optimize queries, indexes, and system resources.
Implement and maintain backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
Configure database security, user permissions, and ensure compliance with governance policies.
Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and .NET application deployments.
Assist with IIS administration and application environment configuration.
Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues while providing on-call support as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of experience with:
Microsoft SQL Server
Windows Server
Azure Cloud
PowerShell
SSIS
Database infrastructure and automation
Strong understanding of storage systems, network architecture, and Azure infrastructure.
Experience with:
Power BI Services
Power Apps
Power Automate
CI/CD pipelines
DevOps processes
.NET applications
Excellent troubleshooting and production support experience.
Required Certification
Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) OR
Equivalent Microsoft SQL Server certification (MCSA/MCSE or similar)
