Product Designer Project Intern (TikTok-Design-UX) - 2026 Start - Project Intern (TikTok Design) - 2027 Start

The TikTok Design team shapes the end-to-end experience of TikTok and related international products. Our product designers, creative designers, content designers work alongside localization specialists across short video, social, search, LIVE, local servcies and short drama.

Bringing coherence to a product used across different cultures, languages, devices, and ways of engaging with content is the central challenge. We combine global design principles with regional insight, balancing familiarity with experimentation as new formats, technologies, and user needs emerge. Individual feature decisions must also connect naturally with the wider product experience.

You will collaborate with product, research, engineering, operations, and other design disciplines from early exploration through implementation. This creates opportunities to influence product direction, work across varied creative and interaction challenges, and see how design helps people express themselves, discover different perspectives, and connect with others.
