JOB SUMMARY:
Prepares food and serves customers at hot station in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and company/client standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high-quality food service is provided.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
Responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking a variety of foods, monitoring the temperature to ensure food is cooked safely, plate food in an attractive manner, and throughout and after shift maintain cleanliness. Cleanliness is of utmost importance in the kitchen, and all cooks are responsible for making sure customers stay healthy.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure manuals. Ability
to write accurately. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, employees and client representatives.
EXPERIENCE
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying:
•One year of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities.
