Data Engineer

Aaratech Inc. is a technology-driven organization focused on delivering innovative solutions across cybersecurity, healthcare, and enterprise domains. The Senior Data Engineer will design and optimize enterprise-scale data solutions, build scalable cloud-based data pipelines, and support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise data integration
• Build and optimize cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes
• Develop high-performance SQL queries and data transformation processes
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and pipeline reliability
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Business Analysts, Data Scientists, and application teams
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to data architecture and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Big Data, or Cloud Data Engineering
• Strong experience with SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Glue, or similar technologies
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of Apache Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau
• Any certifications such as Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Data Engineer, Databricks, or Snowflake certifications are a plus
