Senior Business Analyst (7081)

The Salvation Army of North Texas is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to serve as a liaison between business units and technology teams. This role focuses on defining processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing new functionality while documenting stakeholder requirements and managing projects.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as technical lead on assigned IT projects; plans and manages personal workload to effectively meet the goals established for assigned projects; serves as a technical resource to other IT staff involved or associated with the project; reports progress to supervisor routinely and notifies supervisor of barriers in accomplishing goals in a timely manner
• Gathers, reviews, and analyzes business and industry data using data analytics tools, including KPIs, financial reports, and other key metrics, as well as visual reporting artifacts that support operational and leadership decision-making
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and technical teams in the planning, design, and development of new information system solutions
• Leads discovery sessions to identify opportunities that delight the customer and enhance operational effectiveness in a meaningful way

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Ten years of experience performing business analyst skills to work independently and serve as lead analyst
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Knowledge of Salvation Army business practices
• One or more relevant certifications
