Manager, Software Development Engineering

Delinea is a pioneer in securing human and machine identities through intelligent, centralized authorization. They are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead three engineering teams responsible for core platform services, combining technical leadership, people management, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor three Agile software engineering teams
• Own the technical roadmap and delivery for Inventory, Discovery, and Identity Graph
• Guide the development of cloud-native microservices built with .NET 9, Azure Cosmos DB, and Elasticsearch
• Drive the design of scalable distributed systems and cloud services
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, UX, and Engineering leadership on technical strategy
• Promote the use of AI coding assistants, design tools, and automated testing
• Build a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation, quality, and career development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience managing Agile software engineering teams
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, preferably with .NET/C# or similar backend technologies
• Strong experience designing distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
• Experience building and operating scalable applications on Azure or AWS
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience launching new teams or products in ambiguous environments
• Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar
• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB and Elasticsearch
• Background in identity management, cybersecurity, or Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Knowledge of graph databases or relationship-based data models
• Experience scaling SaaS or enterprise software engineering organizations
• Experience establishing AI-first engineering practices and measuring their impact
