Project Manager

Empire and Co. is a leader in delivering innovative workplace solutions nationwide. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from planning through completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects from kickoff through final client closeout
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, timelines, and installation plans
• Coordinate project activities between Sales, Design, Operations, Purchasing, Installation, and clients
• Ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and within budget
• Track project milestones and proactively communicate updates, risks, and solutions
• Manage project documentation, budgets, change orders, and project reporting
• Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions to minimize delays and ensure successful project delivery
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts throughout the project lifecycle
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional customer service
• Participate in client meetings, construction meetings, and conference calls
• Coordinate with architects, designers, builders, general contractors, and other project stakeholders
• Manage client expectations while ensuring Empire & Co. delivers a high-quality customer experience
• Coordinate field verifications and site readiness prior to project execution
• Review construction schedules and ensure alignment with project timelines
• Collaborate with general contractors, trade partners, building management, and vendors to coordinate site access, deliveries, loading docks, and installation logistics
• Monitor job site progress and proactively resolve issues that may impact project schedules
• Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
• Coordinate furniture, fixtures, equipment (FFE), and other project-related deliveries
• Verify incoming shipments and ensure product accuracy
• Coordinate installation schedules with internal operations teams and third-party vendors
• Ensure punch lists are completed and resolved in a timely manner
• Conduct final walkthroughs and facilitate project closeout activities
• Assist in coordinating additional work orders and project changes as needed
• Maintain accurate project schedules, budgets, documentation, and status reports
• Communicate project updates, timelines, and potential risks to clients and internal stakeholders
• Prepare and provide project closeout documentation and operational materials as required
• Ensure project records are complete, accurate, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience
• Salary is based on experience, with an anticipated range of $95,000–$110,000 annually
• Experience in construction, commercial interiors, facilities, furniture, or a related industry
• Strong account coordination and client relationship management experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Experience managing Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FFE) projects
• Experience working with architects, designers, contractors, and construction teams
• Knowledge of project scheduling and construction coordination processes
• Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
