Senior Software Engineer

Cut+Dry is a fast-growing FoodTech startup revolutionizing the US food supply industry. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build features and enhance applications for food distributors and restaurant operators, leveraging AI-driven development to improve quality and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Works closely with the product team to develop high-quality code to meet product requirements
• Integrates AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality
• Writes effective technical user stories and ensures non-functional requirements like performance and scaling are met
• Actively resolves defects and manages technical debt while leveraging AI for automated bug detection and refactoring
• Practices DevOps methods like CI/CD, SDLC automation, and proactive monitoring
• Identifies opportunities to implement LLMs or AI features within our platform to enhance the user experience for distributors and restaurants
• Participates in code reviews, design discussions, and paired programming
• Evaluates emerging AI technologies continually to identify trends and best practices to strengthen Cut+Dry development practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in CS or 4-5 years of relevant developer experience
• 3+ years of experience in developing high-performance, scalable applications in an agile environment
• Expert-level proficiency in leveraging AI workflows (LLMs, prompt engineering for code, or AI-integrated IDEs) to enhance personal and team productivity
• Extensive hands-on experience in modern programming languages: Java, JavaScript, PHP, React, Python, Graphql, MySQL
• Strong experience building and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS
• Fluency in DevOps, including CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code
