The Core Virtualization team is the engine driving GCE's performance, security, and innovation. As the Director of Engineering for GCE Core Virtualization, you will lead the teams responsible for the core hypervisor, memory management, live update capabilities, virtualization security, and the burgeoning Axion ARM-based compute business.
This is a critical leadership role where you will shape the future of GCE's virtualization stack, ensuring it remains the most performant, scalable, and secure public cloud offering. You will work on complex technical challenges in low-level systems, drive strategic architectural evolution, enhance security posture against sophisticated threats, and deliver features that minimize disruption for our most demanding customers.
