Salary and Benefits: This is a full-time, benefited Staff, S30 level position. Starting salary range: $50,083.00 - $61,352.00/annually, depending upon experience.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Student Success Coach at Laramie County Community College is a full-time, benefited position, dedicated to supporting students throughout their academic journey, from initial interest to graduation. They guide students through enrollment; help identify educational and career goals and assist with program requirements. The coach also connects students to campus resources and addresses academic challenges. They focus on building meaningful relationships through regular interactions and mentorship.
Additionally, the Student Success Coach plays a role in recruitment and promotes higher education by representing the College at events. They collaborate with various departments, including Pathway Coordinators and faculty, to ensure students receive comprehensive support and assistance.
Utilizing caseload management, the Student Success Coach will build and maintain relationships with prospective and current students by ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment throughout their academic journey.
Individualized Success Planning and Support- Provide comprehensive guidance and support by advising, mentoring, and assisting students in program and course selection, academic planning, and resources utilization to ensure their success and retention at the college.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
