SAP BTP SRE DevOps Engineer

Paradigm Global Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Senior SRE / DevOps Operations Engineer to support cloud operations, reliability, automation, and service excellence in a global environment. The role involves managing cloud services, resolving operational issues, and collaborating with development teams to enhance service reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Provision, monitor, and operate cloud services in a globally distributed environment
• Analyze and resolve operational issues and respond to incidents
• Perform system administration, database administration, landscape maintenance, upgrades, and hotfix activities
• Maintain security, integrity, and availability of servers and systems
• Develop and implement monitoring policies, standards, and automation strategies
• Perform incident root cause analysis and drive continuous improvements
• Partner with development teams to improve service reliability
• Support testing strategies, documentation, deployments, and scalability initiatives
• Participate in on-call rotations, including P1 incident support

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Operations, or related roles
• Strong experience with Git and Concourse CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise with Linux (SUSE & Ubuntu)
• Experience with Kafka, Zookeeper, and Big Data technologies
• Strong automation experience for testing, deployment, scalability, and cloud service management
• Experience building and supporting cloud monitoring solutions
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, databases, networking, virtualization, and web services
• Understanding of security fundamentals in SaaS multi-tenant environments
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience with Cloud Foundry environments
• Jenkins / Chef automation
• Terraform
• Kubernetes operations, troubleshooting, configuration, and management
• Prometheus and Grafana observability tools
• IP network and application stack troubleshooting
• Must be a US Citizen and hold only US citizenship (No dual citizenship)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related IT discipline preferred (additional experience may substitute for the degree requirement)
