AI Data Platform Engineer

XChange Software Inc is a technology company focused on data solutions, and they are seeking an AI Data Platform Engineer. The role involves working with cloud data platforms, enterprise data governance tools, and supporting AI/ML platforms while ensuring strong data management and security practices.

Responsibilities:

• Strong experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure Synapse Analytics
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep, Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD
• Experience with enterprise data catalog and governance tools such as Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview, DataHub, Collibra, or Atlan
• Knowledge of Data Mesh architecture and platform engineering concepts
• Experience building automated provisioning frameworks, reusable templates, and data product standards
• Strong understanding of Entra ID, OAuth/OIDC, Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), encryption, dynamic data masking, and key management
• Experience with observability tools including Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, lineage tracking, and cost telemetry
• Familiarity with developer platforms such as Backstage and FinOps best practices
• Experience supporting AI/ML platforms, including MLflow, Feature Stores, Vector Databases, and LLM gateways
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, or similar) and experience with CI/CD pipelines
