Sales Development Manager - Data Center Power Infrastructure

Thermo Fisher Scientific is a leader in the healthcare industry, and they are seeking a Sales Development Manager - Data Center Power Infrastructure. This role focuses on expanding their Environmental & Process Monitoring business within the data center industry by developing strategic relationships and ensuring compliance with environmental monitoring standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic relationships with hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta), colocation providers (Equinix, Digital Realty, QTS), Govt bodies, utility providers, EPC contractors, Integrators, and major electrical OEMs
• Understand and influence Govt policies and regulations, identify and monitor ingresses and emissions, and other asset monitoring concerns that can directly impact data center uptime
• Sell consultatively by connecting technical monitoring solutions to business outcomes such as reliability, compliance, uptime, reduced risk, and lower operating costs
• Build a healthy pipeline through prospecting, networking, industry events, and strategic account development
• Collaborate across sales, product management, marketing, and technical support to win complex opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of B2B sales experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, or related industries
• Demonstrated achievement of sales targets and development of new business opportunities
• Strong understanding of CDMO/CRO services and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with ability to engage executive leadership
• Experience in complex deal structuring and strategic account management
• Proficiency with CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and financial acumen to assess market opportunities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities
• Ability to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and industry events
• Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating across functions
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Adaptability in a responsive, evolving environment
• Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Business, or related field
• Professional business or sales training certifications valued
• Additional language skills beneficial for international territories
