Senior Snowflake Data Engineer (W2 ONLY) (REMOTE)

CloudIngest is seeking a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with strong expertise in building modern cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will independently analyze requirements, build scalable data pipelines, and collaborate with business and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data pipelines
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT solutions using Matillion and dbt
• Develop scalable SQL and Python-based data processing solutions
• Integrate enterprise systems using APIs and JSON
• Support production environments and troubleshoot data issues
• Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams
• Participate in AI-enabled data platform initiatives when required
• Work independently to understand requirements and deliver solutions with minimal guidance

Requirements:

• 14+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake development
• Mandatory experience with dbt (Data Build Tool)
• Mandatory experience with Matillion ETL
• Strong SQL and Python programming skills
• Experience building modern cloud data pipelines
• Informatica ETL experience
• Experience working with APIs, JSON, and data integrations
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Openflow exposure
• Azure and AWS cloud knowledge
• Snowflake Cortex / Snowflake Intelligence exposure
• Streamlit application development
• AI, LLM, RAG, MCP, Chatbots, and Agentic AI concepts
• Enterprise AI platform awareness
