Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Tuck Software Group (TSG) partners with Fortune 500 companies to build modern software solutions and is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to support an enterprise initiative focused on validating the performance, scalability, reliability, and security of next-generation AI-powered software products. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise applications before release.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute performance and load testing strategies that simulate real-world enterprise usage and identify system bottlenecks
• Evaluate application performance by measuring latency, throughput, scalability, and system saturation under varying workloads
• Conduct targeted security and penetration testing focused on authentication, authorization, RBAC enforcement, audit trail integrity, and AI output validation
• Validate end-to-end integrations to ensure accuracy, resilience, and reliability under production-scale workloads
• Partner with engineering teams to prepare and maintain QA and UAT environments, monitor application health, and establish non-functional performance baselines
• Identify, document, prioritize, and retest software defects while collaborating with engineering teams throughout the remediation process
• Develop comprehensive QA documentation including test suites, test cases, test data, defect reports, coverage reports, and final release recommendations
• Analyze logs, metrics, traces, and monitoring data to isolate root causes and support rapid issue resolution
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle
• Support continuous quality improvement through automation, performance optimization, and proactive risk identification

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Performance Engineering, or Quality Engineering
• Hands-on experience designing and executing performance and load testing using tools such as k6, JMeter, Locust, Gatling, or similar platforms
• Experience performing application security and penetration testing, including authentication, authorization, RBAC validation, API security, and common web vulnerabilities
• Working knowledge of identity and authentication technologies including OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SSO, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Experience working within cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Ability to analyze application logs, monitoring data, traces, and performance metrics to identify system bottlenecks
• Experience creating detailed defect reports with clear reproduction steps and prioritization based on production risk
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams
• Experience testing AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or agentic workflow applications
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or multi-agent AI architectures
• Experience validating AI-specific risks such as prompt injection, output sanitization, retrieval security, and access controls
• Experience with enterprise integration testing and large-scale distributed systems
• Ability to automate performance and security testing within CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with compliance-driven testing including audit, retention, and data privacy requirements
• Experience working within Agile software development environments
