Software Development Engineer (Conversion Solutions)

Fiserv is a global leader in Fintech and payments, connecting financial institutions, corporations, merchants, and consumers. The Senior Software Development Engineer, Conversion Solutions will deliver high-quality software for conversion initiatives and provide technical leadership across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development and implementation of software applications that support conversion initiatives and business goals
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for high-impact client solutions
• Perform coding, testing and debugging to deliver high-quality applications with strong performance and reliability
• Maintain and enhance existing codebases while leading peer reviews and supporting complex migration and implementation efforts
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance as a subject matter expert to build team capability and execution strength

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in Java, C, C#, C++ or similar programming languages
• 2+ years of experience with SQL databases and 2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure or GCP services
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, plus 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments
• Experience supporting 2 or more complex client implementations or migration initiatives
• Experience contributing to programs with measurable business impact, such as implementations tied to $2.2M+ in realized value
• 1+ year of experience in the financial services industry
