Summary:
Worley is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in our Long Beach, CA office location. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of engineers and designers, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and efficient delivery across oil, gas, and chemical projects. This includes guiding technical directions, reviewing deliverables, and driving performance to meet project objectives, safety standards, and client expectations.
Typically, managing multiple small projects, and single medium project or a portion of a large or mega project within the organization and/or for customers, with daily operational responsibilities. Works with multi-disciplined project team members to develop technical/functional solutions to strategic project objectives.
Purpose:
Responsible for coordination of project plans, contractual arrangements, schedules, activities, and milestones in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by Worley. Supervises project personnel through subordinate leaders. Bridges the technical gap between the Project Manager and Engineers. Often functions as assistant project manager with an engineering background. Ascertains that engineering work is done according to plan by helping with design interpretation. Reviews bill of materials/project schedules/forecasts for accuracy. This role would apply to those with an engineering background.
