To support our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence, we are embarking on game-changing energy initiatives across our national retail and hotel footprint. That’s where you come in!

We’re on the hunt for a dynamic, pragmatic, and enthusiastic Project Manager- Energy to join our Endeavour Group Optimisation team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Business Improvement, you will be the driving force behind the roll-out of our Energy Building Management Systems (BMS). You will start by leading the deployment across Dan Murphy’s and spearhead the potential expansion across BWS and our Hotel network.

This isn't just about managing schedules—it’s about bringing people together to sustainably land meaningful energy change, drive efficiency, and ensure system reliability across our stores and venues.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Drive the implementation of the Energy BMS on time, within budget, and aligned with our broader business case goals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, bringing together stakeholders from Refrigeration, HVAC, Lighting, Security, IT, and Facilities Management to ensure seamless integrations and handovers.
• Oversee control system deployments, legacy transitions, point-to-point verification reports, and remote monitoring integration.
• Direct and manage multiple vendors, suppliers, and contractors to deliver top-quality outcomes.
• Mentor and guide supporting project team members and business partners, sharing best practices to build long-term team capability.
• Proactively identify risks, manage program dependencies, and ensure clear reporting on project performance and expected benefits.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a natural collaborator who balances a self-paced, autonomous mindset with a genuine team-first spirit. You are driven by excellence, comfortable engaging with management at all levels, and passionate about sustainability.

Essential Criteria:

• 3–5 years in a Project Manager role, ideally delivering complex programs/projects with benefits exceeding $5M.
• Proven track record in leading successful, sustainable energy program implementations within a commercial environment.
• Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business, alongside Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2, or Agile).
• Ability to understand technical integrations across IT, security, and building management systems.
• Advanced communication, facilitation, and change management skills—you know how to mobilize teams and guide them through complexity.
• Willingness to travel interstate and intrastate as needed.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in retail or hospitality environments.
• Background in large-scale or national BMS rollouts.
• Trade qualification in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning or Electrical Engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt).
