Director Project Management

ZeroBeta is a financial technology product company that serves clients across global capital markets. The Director of Project Management will lead complex initiatives across product and technology, ensuring projects meet strategic objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across our product and technology portfolio
• Oversees project and program planning, resource allocation, timelines, and delivery to ensure strategic objectives are met on schedule and within budget
• Partner closely with product, engineering, operations, and client-facing teams to define scope, manage risks, remove blockers, and align stakeholders
• Driving project governance
• Monitoring progress and financials
• Reporting on portfolio performance to senior leadership
• Continuously improving project management processes and standards
• Provides mentorship and guidance to project managers
• Contributes to strategic decision-making for the organization’s project and program landscape

Requirements:

• Program Management skills to oversee multi-project initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and align projects with business strategy
• Project Management expertise to plan, execute, track, and deliver projects, including risk management, scope control, and stakeholder communication
• Budgeting and financial management skills to create and manage project and program budgets, forecast costs, and optimize resource utilization
• Team Leadership capabilities to lead and mentor project management staff, foster collaboration, and build a high-performance delivery culture
• Process Improvement experience to design, refine, and implement project governance frameworks, workflows, and best practices
• Proven experience in leading large-scale technology or fintech initiatives, ideally in financial markets, risk management, or data-focused products
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile/SAFe)
