Land Solutions Project Manager, Electric Transmission, Remote - Milwaukee, WI

Atwell, LLC is a leader in consulting, engineering, and construction services, focusing on creative solutions for clients in real estate and energy markets. They are seeking a Land Solutions Project Manager to oversee land and right of way acquisition activities for electric transmission projects, primarily in Wisconsin, while managing project scope, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee land and ROW acquisition activities supporting electric transmission infrastructure
• Manage easement negotiations, rights of entry, surface agreements, damage settlements, and fee property transactions across active transmission corridors
• Establish project scope, budgets, and schedules; manage contracts and sub-consultants; and ensure performance metrics are met throughout the project lifecycle
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the client, maintaining a consistent presence in the region, staying ahead of their project pipeline, following up on outstanding proposals, and identifying opportunities to expand Atwell's support
• Manage project documentation in Vision, oversee invoicing and collections, and deliver regular financial and progress reporting to leadership
• Coach and mentor your project team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Land Planning, Land Surveying, or equivalent
• 4+ years of project management experience with a focus on electric transmission, utility infrastructure, or energy-related land and ROW work
• Strong background in easement acquisition and land agreements specific to transmission or high-voltage infrastructure projects
• Expertise negotiating ROW easements, surface leases, encroachment agreements, rights of entry, fee property, and damage settlements
• Familiarity with FERC, state utility commission regulations, and property rights frameworks relevant to transmission development
• Experience with Vision as a project management tool
• Ability and willingness to travel regionally throughout Wisconsin, with a focus on Green Bay and Milwaukee, for client-facing work
• AAPL or SR/WA certification is a plus
