Description:
AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to join our growing team.

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Desktop Support Technician to join our IT support team. This hands-on role requires physical activity, including setting up and moving desktops, laptops, and other hardware. The ideal candidate will have a customer-first mindset, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Move and set up IT equipment, including desktops, monitors, and peripherals, as needed.
• Respond to service desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
• Support user account management, including password resets and access requests.
• Document issues and resolutions within the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with other IT team members on larger projects and rollouts.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in IT support areas.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in desktop support or a similar IT role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment safely (up to 40 lbs).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft MTA/MCP) are a plus.
