Release Train Engineer

• Temp-to-perm
• Hybrid in Deerfield Beach three days per week onsite
• Strong leadership and executive-level communication skills
• Demonstrated change-management experience
• Extensive experience leading and maturing PI Planning
• Hands-on RTE experience within a true SAFe environment

The right candidate must be able to clearly explain the Agile Release Trains they have supported, the number of teams involved, and how they have led PI Planning from preparation through execution. Please do not submit candidates whose experience is limited to being a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or traditional Release Manager without direct RTE experience in a SAFe environment.

• Lead and facilitate PI Planning and other Agile Release Train events.
• Oversee ART execution across multiple Agile teams.
• Identify and resolve program-level impediments, risks, and cross-team dependencies.
• Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and delivery teams on SAFe principles and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Management, System Architects, and business leaders to align teams with the technical roadmap and business priorities.
• Track program-level delivery metrics and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership.
• Support organizational change and help mature the overall PI Planning and Agile delivery processes.

Preferred background:

• Five to eight years of IT project or program delivery experience.
• At least two to three years of direct experience serving as an RTE in a SAFe environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• SAFe RTE certification is strongly preferred.

Financial services, automotive, or insurance experience is a plus
