Production Manager

Social House Entertainment is looking for a Production Manager to oversee large-scale immersive holiday experiences. The role involves planning, sourcing, and technical execution of production programs, managing vendors, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful event delivery.

Responsibilities:

• The Production Manager holds full ownership of four production programs across all holiday events. For each program, they work closely with the internal Experience Design team to develop and deploy solutions that meet Social House Holiday’s creative and technical standards
• Signage: Brief and manage design vendors, oversee procurement, and coordinate deployment across all venues
• Audio: Lead system design, equipment specification, and vendor coordination. Provide technical input during the creative development process and own execution through install and show readiness
• Wardrobe and Uniforms: Coordinate sourcing and procurement of all event staff uniforms and wardrobe. Develop and hand off a wardrobe maintenance and care plan to site teams for the run of show. Manage wardrobe inventory, storage, and maintenance during the off-season
• Snow Machines: Manage the full lifecycle of company-owned snow machine inventory, including maintenance scheduling, storage coordination, and site deployment
• Review technical requirements across departments to ensure feasibility, alignment with production standards, and support of the overall guest experience
• Maintain production schedules, budgets, and timelines across all active event seasons
• Adjust project plans in response to scope changes, budget shifts, or scheduling updates
• Develop and maintain the Production Rider and all supporting technical documentation
• Negotiate vendor contracts within approved parameters and manage deliverables through to completion
• Conduct site visits to assess venue conditions and inform production planning
• Monitor project status, surface risks early, and resolve issues before they affect the event timeline
• Oversee load-in, show readiness, and load-out execution across venues
• Manage production equipment inventory across storage facilities
• Assess on-site production staffing requirements for each event season
• Consult on job descriptions and assist with candidate screening
• Develop production-specific onboarding materials and provide guidance to seasonal production staff ahead of and during the event season

Requirements:

• 5+ years in large-scale live event production
• Experience managing multi-vendor, multi-site production projects simultaneously
• Technical fluency in audio system design and specification
• Ability to read and interpret CAD and Vectorworks drawings
• Strong budget management and vendor negotiation skills
• Ability to translate creative briefs into technical execution plans
• Highly organized with the ability to manage long planning cycles and shifting priorities
• Available for evenings and weekends during peak season (October through January)
