Manufacturing Documentation Engineer

United Pharma Technologies Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Materials Compliance Engineer / Manufacturing Documentation Engineer to support a cross-functional project focused on identifying and documenting the chemical composition of packaging materials. This role will involve reviewing production documentation, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Review production and manufacturing documentation to identify packaging materials and components
• Analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) , specification sheets, and engineering documentation
• Contact suppliers to obtain detailed material composition, chemical declarations, and compliance documentation
• Collect, organize, and maintain documentation related to packaging materials and regulated substances
• Support material traceability and documentation management activities
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Regulatory teams
• Track project deliverables and follow up with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely completion
• Utilize electronic document management systems (EDMS/PLM/ERP) to maintain accurate records
• Prepare reports summarizing material composition and compliance information
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with internal quality and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biologics, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline
• 1–5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Biologics, Medical Device, or regulated manufacturing environments
• Experience reviewing production documentation, engineering specifications, and manufacturing records
• Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and specification sheets
• Experience with material traceability and manufacturing documentation
• Experience working with electronic document management systems (EDMS), PLM, ERP, or similar systems
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
