Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Financials Consultant with a strong background in Finance, Labor Capitalization, and Project Accounting. The ideal candidate will have 10 15 years of finance experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience, preferably at the Manager or Senior Consultant level. This role will support labor capitalization processes, financial reporting, and compliance while partnering with Finance, Accounting, Technology, and Project Management teams.

Required Skills:

• 10 15+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Project Accounting.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials.
• Strong understanding of Labor Capitalization, Capital Expenditure (CapEx), and Operating Expense (OpEx) accounting.
• Experience with financial analysis, cost accounting, capitalization, and expense classification.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting and labor cost allocation methodologies.
• Experience supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Finance, Accounting, PMO, and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems, Workday Financials, project accounting, and time-tracking applications.
• Knowledge of capitalization for internally developed software, technology initiatives, construction projects, or long-term assets.
• Experience supporting internal/external audits, financial controls, and compliance.
• Familiarity with project lifecycle management, milestone tracking, and labor allocation methodologies.
• Experience improving financial processes, controls, and reporting standards.
