Position : Senior AWS Cloud Linux Systems Engineer
Location : Washinton DC
Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Network Account Management
Deliver tasks independently
Network/Systems design and assessment
Switching, Firewall, VPN/setup maintenance
Linux Administration
Server and Cloud Migrations
Willingness to work on high level/complex issues as well as break fix work when needed
Effectively articulating repair/resolution options to potentially non-technical users
Work well on a team, engaging in knowledge sharing and backup support for other engineers
The successful candidate will have:
Experience with following:
AWS migration and implementation experience
Implementing and managing Ansible management tool.
With source control tools and practices, preferable with Terraform, Git and Github.
Configuring and supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment environments (Bitbucket, JIRA and Jenkins).
Linux proficiency experience 7+ years
Ansible experience
Manage Appian servers
Microsoft Office 365 (Mail, SharePoint & Azure)
5+ years Windows Systems Administration
2+ years operating on premises and managing to AWS infrastructure
IIS and SQL experience a plus
Virtualization (Hyper-V/VMWare) experience
Networking Experience including but not limited to VLAN setup/maintenance, firewall configuration and VPN Site-to-Site networking
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must have experience with Ansible and Terraform.
A huge plus if they have windows and team lead experience.
